Department of Nuclear Medicine: A Legacy of Innovation and Precision Medicine
The Department of Nuclear Medicine integrates a profound historical heritage with cutting-edge technology, dedicated to advancing nuclear medicine and providing precise medical solutions. Below are some highlights of our specialized medical services:

PET Imaging
Our department is equipped with advanced PET/CT and PET/MR systems, meeting diverse clinical diagnostic needs. Last year, we introduced a fully digital PET scanner, enhancing image resolution and scanning efficiency. Our PET imaging technology excels in tumor staging, neurodegenerative diseases, and cardiovascular diagnostics, laying a solid foundation for precision medicine.

Theranostics
Committed to integrated diagnostic and therapeutic solutions, we offer isotope therapies such as traditional I-131 thyroid treatment and successfully performed the first Lu-177 PRRT (peptide receptor radionuclide therapy) in the country. This breakthrough provides new hope for patients with neuroendocrine tumors and prostate cancer. With image-guided and targeted therapy techniques, we deliver personalized treatment plans that achieve higher efficacy with fewer side effects.

Radiopharmaceuticals
Equipped with the nation’s first medical cyclotron, we independently develop and manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring a high-quality and stable supply. We actively invest in the development and clinical application of new PET tracers, such as C-11 acetate, F-18 PSMA, and F-18 BPA, providing strong support for clinical research and diagnostics.

Radiation Medical Center
With a long-standing and well-established Radiation Medical Center, we offer comprehensive support for diagnosing, evaluating, and treating both acute and chronic radiation exposure. Additionally, we play a key role in radiation safety education and emergency drills, regularly simulating radiation accident scenarios to train medical professionals in effective response strategies.
Focusing on clinical applications, combined with research and education, our department actively leads advancements in nuclear medicine, delivering the best possible medical solutions for our patients.
